More SPANISH CUP action tonight with 5 games & true nail-biting excitement & goals to entertain. Here are the results & scorers

VILLAREAL eliminated VALENCIA CF after turning the match around in spectacular fashion to win 4-2 the 2ºleg match. The 1ºst leg finished in a 0 - 0 draw & Valencia CF was already up two goals thanks to BENAGA 4th min & SOLDADO in the 22nd min to set the team on a winning course.
Then Valencia was literally "sank" in the 2ºhalf by a "new look" Villareal who surprised everyone coming on with a totally different mentality. The come-back started via CAZORLA with a 47th min goal, ROSSI who transformed a penalty in the 49th min, M.RUBEN with his 63rd min goal & again ROSSI in the 93rd min.
A superb game of Spanish Cup Football!
Earlier in the day GETAFE was knocked out by 2º Division leaders REAL BETIS after losing 1 -3 in the 2ºleg. Getafe had gone into this match with a 1 - 2 advantage from the 1º leg but failed dismally to take advantage. The goals for Betis came thanks to MOLINA (56th min) & CASTRO ( 72nd & 90th min). Getafe managed a goal via CASQUERO in the 93rd min but it was all too late.
Big scoring game at MALLORCA who went in with 3- 4 disadvantage from the 1º st leg to lose again 3-4 against ALMERIA in the 2º leg. Almeria did all the damage early with goals from PIATTI (1st min), ORTIZ (3rd min & 33rd min) & PIATTI again in the 41st min. Then Mallorca reacted well in the 2ºhalf to attempt a "miracle" come-bcak with goals from CAVENAGHI (69th & 76th min) & PEREIRA (75th min ) but too late, Mallorca out of the Spanish Cup.

RCD ESPANYOL drew 1 - 1 against ATLETICO DE MADRID to be eliminated from the Spanish Cup. In the first leg the visitors won 1-0 & the 24th min fabulous "one-man-show" SERGIO AGUERO goal was the "killer". Espanyol managed a goal via LUIS GARCIA in the 92nd min with a gran free-kick but it was too late.
Not much in play in the last game except pride. LEVANTE lost the 1ºst leg 8-0 & REAL MADRID put on a "B Team". Boring match except for the last moments when Levante scored a penalty in the 6ist min via XISCO & SERGIO put in a free-kick in the 41st min. Final rersult : 2 - 0
Teams qualified at this stage for the Spanish Cup Quarter Finals: Real Betis, Almeria, Villareal, FC Barcelona, Sevilla FC , Deportivo , At Madrid & Real Madrid.
